Cadence does not collect any data. There is no account, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no server operated by us.
Two things, both on your device only:
Neither is transmitted to us or to anyone else. We have no server that could receive them.
Requests to the Healthchecks server address you supplied, and nothing else. No third-party SDKs, no telemetry endpoints, no ad networks. The data those requests return — your check names, schedules and ping history — comes from your server and stays on your device.
If you use a self-hosted instance, that traffic never leaves your network. What happens to data on your own server is governed by how you run it.
Notifications are generated locally on your device by comparing your checks' current state with the previous state Cadence saw. They are not push notifications, no remote server is involved, and no device token is registered with anyone.
Demo mode uses fictional data bundled with the app. It makes no network requests at all.
Cadence is a tool for people who administer their own servers. It is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone, including children.
Settings → Disconnect removes the stored server address and deletes the API key from the Keychain. Deleting the app removes everything it holds. Because nothing was ever sent anywhere, there is nothing else to request or erase.
If a future version of Cadence ever collects anything, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be described in the app's release notes.
